New Year's Resolution: Make 2009 A Year of Giving

Thanks to an outpouring of support as 2008 drew to a close, Global Impact funded charities were able to continue providing life-saving and life-sustaining assistance to millions across the globe. In order to keep the momentum going, here are some simple and inexpensive ways you can continue to make a real global impact throughout the entire year.

UNICEF WaterOffer millions of around the world a healthy start to the New Year by supporting member charity programs that administer lifesaving vaccines, nourish children's minds and bodies, provide access to clean sources of water and treat millions living with (and dying from) HIV/AIDS.

Mercy Corps Sudan CampAs spring evolves into summer, provide hope to families with the gift of sustenance, give comfort and shelter to millions displaced by conflict or natural disaster and help those in tropical climates keep disease-ridden mosquitoes at bay.


A View of the Future: September to December

Girls LearningLooking ahead to year's end, you can offer a brighter future by enriching the minds of young girls, eradicating blindness and its root causes, generating family incomes and emancipating women abused solely because of their gender.
