Stanley Berman, Chief Financial Officer, Selected as a "Smart CPA"
Global Impact Only Not-for-Profit in 2009 SmartCPA List
Alexandria, VA (September 1, 2009) - Stanley Berman, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chief Financial Officer of Global Impact was selected this month as a "Smart CPA" by SmartCEO Magazine. SmartCEO annually recognizes 30 of the best and brightest CPAs in the Greater Washington, DC area. Global Impact is the only not-for-profit organization selected for inclusion in the 2009 list.
Prior to joining Global Impact in 2007, Mr. Berman was Chief Financial Officer of B'nai B'rith International, a charitable service organization with members in 51 countries. Previously, Mr. Berman was a member of the professional staff of Arthur Andersen & Co., originally on the audit staff and later as a Senior Manager in the consulting division of Andersen. Mr. Berman is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA). He is currently Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee of the GWSCPA and serves on its Not-for-Profit Organizations Committee.
